Dear All,

over the weekend, i have implemented the discussed
functionality. On object parameters, it calls now first the
value checkers/converters and then it sets finally the value
of the property over the "assign" method of the slot (if
provided). This functionality is now in git head and will be
part for the forthcoming release.
